What we talk about
The flagship, and the show the whole Unnati method was proved on. Unscripted 60–90 minute conversations where a serial entrepreneur (not a journalist) gets founders talking honestly about the mechanics: product-market fit, unit economics, the near-death moments, and where AI actually changes the business.
How they actually found it, and how they knew when they had it.
The model under the story: how the company really makes money.
Margins, burn, and the honest path to profit.
The times it almost didn’t make it, and what pulled it through.
The market, the moat, and why now.
How founders are using it for real, past the noise.

Meet the host
Founder, Unnati · Host, Founder Thesis
Akshay Datt is a serial entrepreneur who spent two decades building ventures in employability training and hiring before he ever picked up a mic. He got hooked on founder interviews while cycling to work, went looking for a show that went deep into how businesses actually scale, and started Founder Thesis in 2020 when he could not find one.
He has since interviewed around 550 founders, including Sanjeev Bikhchandani, Dinesh Agarwal, Bhavin Turakhia and Amit Jain. He asks the questions a fellow operator asks, because he has run the businesses that did not scale as well as the ones that did, and founders talk to him differently for it.
